How did a single google adsense click defeat the earning of 3000 views

Since the beginning of my career as a blogger which put a Google Adsense in my IT Tech Tutorial Blog, this morning is the first time i received a click.

Surprisingly, the money earned by 1 click only had defeated the value earning from a 3000 views.I got my first click, it give me Rp. 1616, and for a 3000+ views , i got only Rp. 1000.

Google Adsense had categorized two kinds of way to calculate this :

1. Pay Per Click
 
2. Per Impressions


The big question is how to make the reader have interest to click ?
